The Beginning
whiteMAKO was born in the Midwest United States. Unhappy with the lack of quality in the business, design and technology industries, two entrepreneurs started whiteMAKO with the vision to make quality services standard and not just an expensive upgrade. It was then that the company started its mission to disrupt the industry by offering higher-quality services and speaking out against those that chose not to.
This focus on higher quality services lead the company down a path toward innovation, something few companies knew of back then and only a handful know of now. Because of this early commitment, the company was able to make leaps and bounds in its career, securing projects and partnerships unheard of for a company of its age. From small businesses to large corporations, whiteMAKO's fresh new approach to business was proving itself to be very attractive. Now, several years later, the global business enterprise that was started as a summer project between two individuals has continued its exponential growth.
The Name

The shortfin mako shark (also known simply as the mako shark) is the fastest predator in the sea, reaching speeds of over four times that of any other shark. Streamlined and built for performance, the high-leaping mako has a heat exchange circulatory system that allows it to be 10 degrees warmer than the surround water, enabling it to have a high level of activity. This makes the mako one of the most well-equipped hunters on the face of the earth.
With a commitment to innovating and always being on the leading edge, whiteMAKO has become a very dynamic, active, and efficient firm in the business world just like the mako shark. This work ethic of high activity combined with great precision embodied by the mako is the origin of our brand.
The Philosophy

Work is driven by the duty to perform much like fulfilling an obligation while play is driven by a desire to perform much like freely giving help.
Most companies have strict work environments where things like creativity are snuffed in the name of procedure. In doing so, they miss sight of what studies have shown is vital to their long-term growth and success, a company culture of play. We have taken strides to create an environment that promotes curiosity, exploration, and creativity. Doing so keeps our staff happy and our clients happier. We've dedicated ourselves to innovation and play so our philosophy is "innovation at play", which contrasts the seriousness of the infamous "men at work" road sign.
